“Your hands are clean, but your hearts are rotting.” On the outside it looks like they’re beautiful, but they are white-washed tombs. Who can be with God? The man with clean hands and a pure heart. In order to enter in the presence of God, we need both, and that comes from the inside: a soul in the state of grace.
